Day 1-3 aka HELL!

Oh man! Talk about a rough couple of days. I went from a nice, caring and social girl to a crazed, anti-social mess who was about to go hold up the nearest 7-11 for a candy bar! All I could think about was food and what I COULDN'T do with it! The biggest challenge for me was the social part of eating (and drinking) which if I haven't mentioned you have to eliminate all alcohol during this cleanse .... I know, its OK to take a moment of silence now and say goodbye to Wine Wednesdays. RIP.

Moving on. During days 1-3, if you feel like locking yourself in your bedroom after work, DO IT! I did :) Do anything that will help you keep your mind off eating. After day 3 the cleansing "High" kicks in and believe me you don't want to miss out on that!


DAY 1

Congrats! Congrats for committing to doing a cleanse and congrats for actually starting!

Morning-
Upon awaking drink 1/2 of room temp water with 1 Tablespoon Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar.

Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar


  • Potassium – helps to prevent brittle teeth, hair loss and runny noses.

  • Pectin – helps to regulate blood pressure and reduce bad cholesterol.

  • Malic Acid – gives ACV the properties of being anti-viral, anti-bacterial & anti-fungal.

  • Calcium – helps create strong bones and teeth.

  • Ash – gives ACV its alkaline property which aids your body in maintaining proper pH levels for a healthy alkaline state.

  • Acetic Acid – It appears that this acid slows the digestion of starch which can help to lower the rise in glucose that commonly occurs after meals


  • AND IT MAKES YOU SKINNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (KC'S side note)

    Breakfast (Mostly Fruit but you can add some veggies to mix it up)
    • Green Apples
    • Pineapple
    • Carrots
    • Lemon
    • Ginger
    Drink this before you leave for work or get your days started with kids etc.....

    Lunch
    • Spinach
    • Kale
    • Celery
    • Green Apple
    • Cucumber
    • Zucchini
    • Lemon
    Snack
    • Carrots
    • Ginger
    Dinner (spicy V8)
    • Tomato
    • Celery
    • Carrot
    • Red pepper
    • Parsley
    • Lemon
    • Garlic
    • Onion (sounds gross but it makes the V8)
    • Cayenne
    If you don't like Tomatoes then you can substitute cucumbers..................................

    DAY 2

    Morning-
    Upon awaking drink 1/2 of room temp water with 1 Tablespoon Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar.

    Breakfast
    • Green Apples
    • Beets
    • Oranges
    • Carrots

    Lunch (Liver Function Juice)
    • Spinach
    • Parsley
    • Apples (green or red)
    • Lemon
    Snack (Lemonade)
    • 1/2 Lemons
    • 1/2 Water
    • Cayenne ( Optional)
    Cayenne is an amazing herb to add to your juices once in awhile. It not only helps circulate your blood flow, but it also gets the toxins up and moving out!

    Dinner
    • Romaine
    • Celery
    • Spinach
    • Carrots
    • Cucumber
    • Lemon

    DAY 3

    Morning-
    Upon awaking drink 1/2 of room temp water with 1 Tablespoon Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar.

    Breakfast
    • Apples (simple apple juice)

    Lunch
    • Celery
    • Kale
    • Spinach
    • Cucumber
    • Green Apple
    • Lemon
    Snack
    • Large Wheat grass shot from Jamba Juice
    Dinner
    • Celery
    • Spinach
    • Yellow Pepper
    • Zucchini
    • Lemon

    Since I work almost 10 hrs a day, I juice my Breakfast, Lunch and snack in the morning before I leave for work. I got 2 reusable water bottles and fill those up with all the juice I need to get me through the day. You can also do this if you are home with your kids. Just put the juice in the fridge and BOOM, when hunger hits all you have to do is grab the juice and enjoy! The hard part is over!!!!
